Avaliação do Desempenho Estático e Dinâmico de uma Microrrede na Ocorrência de Ilhamentos Intencionais

      This work presents some aspects related to the operation of distributed generation working isolated from the main grid, forming the so-called microgrids. The simulations presented in this work are made in a real distribution network, which is part of a rural area in the Rio de Janeiro state. Static and dynamic short-circuit simulations using three-phase models are performed with two specialized software. The work presents techniques for islanding detection and utilizes protective relays for this purpose. The work also evaluates the performance of the microgrids formed from intentional islanding, with respect to the ability to identify the island formation, to the survival of the island formation, and to the reconnection to the main grid. In the case analyzed, the island operation is possible because the capacitiy of the small-hydro plant is larger than the feeder load. Finally, a brief explanation is given regarding to the different performance of thermal and hydro turbines in the case under study.
